Luke Crook - NCS Coordinator in Medway

13 September 2017

My name is Luke Crook and I am one of 2 NCS Co-Ordinators at MYT, having previously been a seasonal NCS Leader working on 4 NCS programmes. My job involves recruiting young people for the programme, managing the teams away on residential and working with local schools to spread the word for the good ship NCS!

My background is in Community Music, Education and Youth Work, predominantly using music as a tool to educate, build confidence and bring people together with organisations such as SupaJam, Training Them Live, FUSE Festival and Icon Theatre.

As you can probably guess, music is a big passion for me, having played guitar and piano since my early teens and I’ve been lucky enough to play in a variety bands across Medway over the years, as well as running my own record label showcasing local Medway bands. When I’m not making a racket, you’ll find me catching up on rugby (Leicester Tigers fan here!) or cooking something spectacular.
