Will Barney - TrustCareers Adviser in Medway

15 October 2013

I have been a careers adviser for some time, I’m not saying how long but I continue to do it because I believe in the benefit of careers advice to all young and not so young people. Before training to become a careers adviser I worked in industry and commerce, including working in a canning factory – never again! I am professionally qualified in careers guidance, as an assessor and as an internal auditor. There are several other random certificates lying in a draw including a qualification in central heating design [never tried it] building materials and supplies [long forgotten] and family history which remains an interest. In addition I am a member of a local quiz league, which involves visiting a number of pubs on a regular basis, have taken part in quizzes on tv and radio, enjoy cycling on the flat or downhill, and reading just about anything.
