The MY Trust is committed to protecting your privacy when you use our services. Your Team Leader should have made you aware of our organisational Privacy Notice, which is on our website here www.themytrust.org/privacy-policy but these points are specific to young people that are supported by NCS.

When you sign up for NCS you are entering into a contract with NCS Trust CIC, who are the data controller for the personal information you give, you can view their privacy policy here www.ncsyes.co.uk/privacy-policy. Any sign up information you give our staff will store on the NCS central database, however there is information that we need to process at MY Trust to ensure you are safe and well supported on programme.

The two types of data we collect are:

  • Personally identifiable information (PII) - data which can be used to identify and contact a ‘living individual’ connected to programme e.g. name, address and email address.
  • Special category information -  personal data that pertains to, but is not limited to, medical, racial or sexual and political life detail, and biometric data such as facial images and voice recordings. This enables us to keep young people safe and healthy, and allows us to support our mission in respect of social cohesion and mobility.

We will share data with APM our Prime Contractor and NCS Trust to fulfil our contractual needs. We will not share your data with any other third party without your consent, unless we feel you or someone else is at risk and we need to act to protect you or others.

Purposes for processing your data:

The lawful basis for processing this information under GDPR has been identified as: 6 (1) (a) You the data subject has given consent to the processing of your data for this purpose.

Personal data you give to us:

MY Trust will collate all the personal and sensitive information you have informed us of during the sign up and create a support strategy. This will include any health, medical or specific support you may need or things our staff need to be aware of during programme. This will be keep securely during programme and then destroyed within 48 hours of the end of programme. We store the original paperwork that you complete in secure filing cabinets and these are archived a year after the programme has complete and will either be handed to NCS Trust at the end of our contract or destroyed securely if they wish us to.

MY Trust will also be taking photographs and videos of you if you have given specific consent for us to do so. These will be deleted a year after the programme has been completed unless you have given additional consent and a reason to keep them longer.
