What is it? 

MY Trust are working in partnership with MidKent College to deliver a programme for Year 11 leavers, or those within that age range, called the Transition Programme. The learners will develop  their skills and confidence to reach their potential. Whether they are going onto College, Sixth form, an Apprenticeship or are still undecided, the programme will give them an opportunity to complete a Level 1 NOCN qualification as well as taking part in sessions and workshops to support their development. The programme begins at the end of June and will run until the end of July and similar to the MY Study Placement programme, we are looking to support 15 young people.

Who's it for?

Year 11 students. 

Anyone in the range of 16-18 years

Where?

Monday- Fort Horsted, Primrose Close, Chatham, Kent, ME4 6HZ

Tuesday-Friday: Drop off at Fort Horsted, then mini bus will take young people to 36 Headly Street, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 5AD.

Travel is provided from the Fort, going to Maidstone and Back. 

What do I get out of it?

Whether you are thinking of going onto college, sixth form, an apprenticeship or are still undecided,  the programme will give you an opportunity to complete a Level 1 NOCN qualification as well as taking part in sessions and workshops to support your development.
